THE DUO FIELD GUIDE
How to use a teleprompter on iPhone Duo
Your iPhone Duo can bring the script and recording lens to the same side of your setup. Teleprompter Duo turns that into a focused workflow: prepare your words, place them near the lens, and record.
1. Start with a script you can say out loud.
Write in the app, paste from your notes, or import a plain-text file. Use short sentences and natural pauses. The editor saves your changes and provides a duration estimate so you can plan your video.
2. Set up camera above, script below.
Place your phone securely at eye level. For the camera-above-reader pose, orient the rear camera above the screen you will read. On supported Duo configurations, enable the outer reading display when available. Check the selected camera and live preview before recording.
3. Make the words comfortable to read.
Choose readable text, a comfortable speed, and a narrow reading column near the lens. Large text is easier to see, but excessively wide lines can make your eyes travel. Rehearse a few sentences and adjust until your delivery feels relaxed.
4. Rehearse, then record.
Play your script before recording to find your pace. When ready, use Record and the configured countdown. Keep your attention near the lens. Pause the script when needed; stopping the recording saves the take.
5. Review your result.
Open the saved take and check framing, sound, pacing, and eye movement. Trim the beginning and ending. Export to Photos, Files, or a destination in the system share sheet. Pro adds captions, pause removal, and watermark-free exports.
